Hands down the best Mexican food around the area. Their tortillas are hand made. The refreshments are so good. They have a big aguas frescas selection.

Is it too cliche to call this a hidden gem? Amazing handmade yellow tortilla quesadillas with ALL THE FIXINS (beans, crema, cotija, grilled onions, jalapenos, etc.) Haven’t tried the meats but love the vegetarian options - mushroom and squash flower. Great selection of salsa. Free grilled onions and some kind of salad (often nopales).

Quesadillas are so good the flor y calabasa and cesina are the best! The salsas are good but need a bit more flavor and heat. We will definitely be back! All had a sope de asada and it is huge and delicious definitely worth the price which wasn't bad at all!

This place is awesome for the hand made tortillas and quesadillas. Have been stopping by here for years now... ever since they were at the original location around the corner on Mission before the 6th Street bridge construction. If you are in the downtown Los Angeles area, you have to stop by for a bite. You won't regret it. Don't mind the location and pop up tent look, it's always felt safe if that worries some. They usually open until 3 pm, but I didn't ask if that went for the weekends also. Price for the quesadillas have gone up to 4 as of April 2018 and 3 for the aguas frescas. Forgot the other item prices as I always go for a quesadilla and horchata.

Absolutely delicious quesadillas, I had asada, cheese and crema, delicious. After my soda I paid 7. Can't complain at all, tortilla hand made, food was hot and fresh. Waited about ten minutes, but it's fresh, so you definitely can't complain.
